I would love your help! I'm ready for a new perfume, and have been for a little while now, but I get SO overwhelmed visiting Sephora and department stores and smelling fifty different scents. I get frustrated and end up with a headache and just leave the store. The past two perfumes I've had, I have LOVED! But I've actually re-bought them both and used them again, so it's time for something new. What is your favorite? Any scent that is mentioned I will check out! Below are my two most recent staples, Juicy Couture and Chanel Chance Fresh. I've thought of trying Viva La Juicy, but I think it will be too sweet for me. Chanel Chance Fresh has been great, I reccomend it. FYI: it smells COMPLETELY different than regular Chanel Chance. It's very confusing because the only difference between the two bottles is Chance Fresh has pink on it, it doesn't even say "Fresh" on it. It's just pink! Both below have been good to me, but it's time for a new perfume. I know perfume scents are very personal, but I am pretty open-minded, or open-nosed I guess I should say.
What do you wear? Is there a scent that you 'swear by' and just absolutely love? I really appreciate your tips so I can get a head start - instead of smelling EVERY scent at Sephora this weekend. My nose and head thank you in advance!

oooh- this is fun. I LOVE perfumes! I used to get a new one whenever I would run out, but the past 2 times, I've gotten the same perfume. It is Light Blue by Dolce & Gabanna. I absolutely love it. I've had a lot of my friends tell me I am not allowed to change perfume because they know what mine smells like. Haha, I don't know if that means I use too much or what... but they say they love it and always know when I'm around cause they smell me! Ha! So I guess I'm stuck with it. :) But I really love it.

I looove Givenchy Hot Couture (thats what I currently wear) and am thinking of trying out Victoria Secrets Sexy Little Thing Black Noir! It's such an overwhelming process! haha!

ReplyDeleteI'm rpetty easy to please, when it comes to scents. And I've been using the same Victoria Secret scent for a few years. McStudly loves it, and I do, too... so I guess we'll golden, eh? I wear 'Pure Sedcution', but I sware I'm not the little hussy that the name would lead you to believe.

I wear Armani's Armani Mania. I love it. I also where D&G Feminine by Dole and Gabbana.

ReplyDeleteI swear by Chanel Mademoiselle and Lilly squeeze. The Chanel is a good classic scent think black dress with pearls while squeeze is more fresh and springy think pretty lilly dress.

ReplyDeleteLight Blue by Dolce & Gabbana. LOVE.IT. I can wear it year round..it's light and wonderful! When I was a waitress I always had people asking me what I was wearing so they could get it.
ReplyDeleteWell, I'm pretty low-maintenance (read: a cheapskate) when it comes to makeup and perfume and stuff like that...and I don't generally like to smell too strongly, so most of the time I go with a body spray rather than perfume. My favorites right now are Victoria's Secret - Endless Love and Amber Romance. I also have a perfume I bought at Charlotte Russe, and it's called Refuge. Or the brand is Refuge. I dunno...coincidentally, I buy most of my jeans at Charlotte, and they're Refuge brand, too.

There is this new scent at Victorias Secret that is heavenly! I'm dying to buy it! I cant remember what its called though... but I love VS scents they are all great!

Coco Mademoiselle is my absolute fave!! I also like The Body Shop's White Musk line. It's not in your face MUSK, it's really rather soft.

ReplyDeleteI don't wear perfume very often, but when I do, it's "Hot" by Ralph Lauren (purple bottle). It always reminds me of summer - not sure why - and I love it.

Love Gettysburg and hearing all the ghost stories. As for a new scent you might like Ed Hardy by Christian Audigier. When I first the saw the package I thought it may be too rock and roll for me but every time I wear it I get compliments. I am a Juicy girl too so I thought you might enjoy this fragrance. I always ask for samples first before buying and try them out for awhile. It is overwhelming though to shop for new scents. I am thinking Burberry you might like as well. Hope you come by again! :)
